General information concerning red bull energy drink
With the popularity that Red Bull energy drinks come the speculations about the side effects that it may have on those who are taking them. From the time that Red Bull first came out in the market, it became an instant hit among those who have tried and tested its effects on the body. It is no wonder why this energy drink has become a household name in no time at all. If something is that good, then there must be something in the ingredient that can bring the opposite reaction. This may be one of the thoughts that the not-so-convinced consumers have in mind.
Consumers are now interested in the composition and effects of what they consume. As with most things in life, moderation is the key to drinking the Red Bull energy drink. Red Bull energy drink side effects become a problem in cases where a consumer is drinking the Red Bull energy drink in excess, or fails to combine their consumption of the Red Bull energy drink with an adequate daily diet.
However, the reality is that caffeine is the main ingredient in energy drinks that is responsible for providing the energy boost. In fact, most energy drinks contain about twice the amount of caffeine found in carbonated soda drinks. Most consumers are not aware that the caffeine content in energy drinks and commercial coffee beverages is not regulated by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
Side effects
Caffeine in every other beverage is not good for the health. Caffeine has been shown to cause tremors and shakes, dehydration, headaches, rapid hard rate, difficulty breathing, increased blood pressure, irritability, and lack of sleep. It stimulates your central nervous system, making it difficult for many people to sleep. Red Bull among many other energy drinks that contain a lot of caffeine causes the body to leach calcium, resulting in weaker bone structure, which can then contribute to Osteoporosis when taken over an extended period.
For those who are used to drinking Red Bull, the other side effect that they have seen is the increased nervousness and anxiety. This is especially experienced by those whose body have gotten used to taking regular amounts of this energy drink
People who attempt to use energy drinks to combat fatigue may feel better temporarily, but then end up paying for it later. When your body is tired, it needs sleep, and it’s not going to function properly until it gets it. Sleep is the only way your body will be able to recharge itself. There are no short cuts here. People, who have a history of seizures, should avoid energy drinks since energy drinks can increase the chances of precipitating seizures in these individuals.
